Cannes Aviation Academy has purchased an entrol A32 FNPT II MCC simulator to be installed at Cannes Mandelieu Airport and used for APS MCC and ATPL training.
The entrol A32 FNPT II MCC is based on the Airbus A320, featuring PBN, TCAS II, EGPWS, Windshear Warning System and Predictive Windshear.
This unit will also have a smoke machine to enhance the pilot immersion during training, and a debriefing station to replay and review training sessions.
“To advance our development and expand our training programme, the acquisition of an MCC simulator was imperative to meet the demand of our students for the integrated ATP programme and the modular programme,” said Mathieu Di Costanzo, CEO of Cannes Aviation Academy.
“We thoroughly tested and evaluated entrol’s A320-based A32 FNPT II MCC simulator and concluded that it is a capable, sophisticated and realistic machine, ideal for the development of advanced airline multi-crew skills. We were also impressed with Entrol’s skills and quality of service.”
Cannes Aviation Academy has been training professional pilots since 1995 to EASA/part FCL regulations. The school has a fleet of 10 Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft.
