ACS Aviation Acquires flight simulator from Tayside Aviation

Scottish pilot training academy, ACS Aviation, has announced its purchase of the advanced ALX flight simulator from the administrators of Tayside Aviation, which recently ceased operations.

This acquisition comes as ACS Aviation celebrates a year of achievements, with record revenues and graduate success.

The ALX flight simulator offers comprehensive simulation capabilities for various training requirements, from small twin-engine aircraft to the ATR42 regional aircraft, this advanced simulator ensures students receive a realistic and immersive training experience.

One notable feature of the ALX flight simulator is its sophisticated airport graphics, providing students with a true-to-life training environment beyond the confines of an actual aircraft. This enhancement further strengthens ACS Aviation’s commitment to delivering the most comprehensive commercial training experience available in Scotland.

Graeme Frater, the Managing Director of ACS Aviation, expressed the academy’s confidence in ALSIM by opting to purchase the ALX Flight simulator from the administrators of Tayside Aviation. With a successful six-year partnership with ALSIM, this acquisition showcases ACS Aviation’s dedication to providing its students and customers with state-of-the-art technology. The new simulator will enable student pilots and airline customers to undergo advanced training, preparing them for direct applications to airlines upon graduation. Furthermore, airline customers and graduates can utilize the simulator for interview and assessment preparation, enhancing their chances of success.

With the addition of the ALX flight simulator, ACS Aviation solidifies its position as a leader in the aviation training industry. This investment underscores the academy’s commitment to ensuring students receive the highest quality education, equipping them with the skills and experience necessary for a successful career in aviation.
