SurePilot adds percentile ranking element to pilot assessment tool

SurePilot, an online pilot assessment tool which can be used by individuals, airlines and ATOs, has added a percentile ranking element to its service.

The introduction of the percentile ranking data allows assessors and candidates to analyse performance in detail, explained the team. The new element displays the candidate score relative to and allows candidates to compare to all other scores of previous candidates who have participated in a SurePilot online pilot assessment.

A statement from the team at SurePilot explained, ‘Percentile ranking within SurePilot is displayed both as a rank and shown as distribution within a graph. If, for example, a candidate has a percentile rank of 85, it is considered that the candidate score is equal to or greater than 85% of all other scores achieved by candidates that have participated in a SurePilot online pilot assessment.’

Assessors that invite candidates directly to participate in a SurePilot assessment will also be able to compare an invited candidates’ scoring against all other candidates that have been invited and are present within their leaderboard.

SurePilot offers an online pilot assessment (also known as a pilot aptitude test) for aspiring commercial pilots wishing to assess their aptitude to successfully complete commercial flight training. Prices start from £26.

For organisations wishing to invite, assess and examine the performance of candidates for training or recruitment, prices start from £96 per calendar month.
