BSA launches engineering training at Monarch’s former Luton facility

Monarch Airlines’ engineering training academy at London Luton Airport have been purchased from the administrator by British School of Aviation (BSA).

BSA is to open its first ever Aviation Academy and will launch its first CAA approved engineering courses in November, with other aviation skills following shortly after.

Industry recognised experts Anoop Singh Bamrah, Shonu Bamrah, Matt Harvey and Richard Cooper are directors at BSA, alongside Peter Kara, a non-executive director of Veruth Holdings which has invested in the project.

BSA plans to build a global network of aviation academies, with the aim of training at least 3% of the global market by 2025.
