Airways Aviation will launch the next opportunity in its global pilot scholarship programme for Italy at Pilots Careers Live in Rome on Saturday, 25 November. The scholarship is worth €40,000 as part-funding for airline pilot training with the company.

Romy Howatt, founder of Airways Aviation, said, “The world is in need of airline pilots and we understand that for many potential aviators, financial constraints make it difficult to pursue a career as a pilot. Following a significant increase in enquiries, we have spent the last few months recruiting aspiring pilots from all over Europe and have had a great response to our eight scholarship initiatives launched to date.

“Training to be a pilot is a complex, challenging and character-building learning experience which is why our course syllabus not only covers the demanding technical requirements of pilot training, but also includes personal and professional development at every stage of the process.

Pilots Careers Live Rome is the ideal event for us to announce this opportunity for would-be pilots in the region to train to be part of the next generation of top airline pilots.

“I encourage all aspiring pilots to come to the event, being hosted at the Sheraton Roma Hotel & Conference Centre, to take the first important step towards a professional pilot career.”
