Where to train: a directory of flight schools

Approved Training Organisations – ATOs – are where training for a professional pilot qualification takes place. The ATOs are highly regulated by the aviation authorities to make sure their courses cover all the requirements and, of course, that their flight operations are safe.

Training packages and costs vary depending on the route and location of your training organisation, so make sure to do your research. It’s very worthwhile visiting a Pilot Careers Live event where you can meet many of the ATOs in person.

As well as ATOs, this list also contains companies which deliver additional services, and universities which work with an ATO to offer professional pilot training alongside a related degree course. Use the list of countries to select where you’d like to train.

This guide is always being updated, so if you are a flight training company interested in being included in this directory, please email Pilot Career News.
