Phoenix Helicopters teams up with the Air League to offer scholarship

In celebration of achieving their 10,000th flying hour, Phoenix Helicopters has donated a five hour, Introductory Helicopter Flying Scholarship to The Air League.

The opportunity is open to existing a new young members of The Air League and will be completed at the Goodwood branch of Phoenix Helicopters.

It’s a three-day course that must take place between 17 and 30 September 2016. Full terms and conditions are detailed in the application form that has been online since 1 July 2016.

Located at the Goodwood Aerodrome, Sussex and Blackbushe Airfield, Surrey, Phoenix Helicopters was established in 2009.
James Rowland, Flight Operations at Phoenix, explained, “Phoenix Helicopters celebrated our 10,000th flying hour earlier this year. To celebrate passing this milestone, we are giving away £10,000 worth of prizes. We are running one competition per month until the end of the year. The prizes will include money off PPL Training, CPL Training, Hour Building, Ground Instruction, Type Ratings and other aviation courses.

“For July, we have teamed up with the Air League to give a lucky member our Introductory Helicopter Flying Scholarship in 2016.”
