CAE Oxford Aviation Academy awards scholarship

CAE Oxford Aviation Academy recently launched an Air Cadet Scholarship at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2015. The scholarship was presented to the recipient of the CAE Oxford RIAT Air Cadet of the Year award who was selected from amongst the 800+ air cadets attending the Air Cadet camp at this year’s RIAT. The award was presented jointly by the president of RIAT, Air Marshal Sir Kevin Leeson and CAE Oxford’s Centre Leader Andrew McFarlane at an awards ceremony on the final evening of the airshow.

The recipient of the award, Matthew McClune will receive a scholarship for a Professional Pilot Foundation Course (PPFC) consisting of a basic introduction to ATPL theory, 20 hours of flying lessons in a single engine aircraft plus a 1 hour introductory lesson on a jet simulator. Matthew is expected to commence his training in Oxford over the next few months. Congratulations to Matthew.
