British Airways has reopened its Direct Entry Pilot recruitment campaign and are looking for pilots who:

  • Hold a current type rating
  • Have a minimum of 500 hours, or the required sectors, on an aircraft that satisfies CAP 804 FCL.730. A – Zero Flight Time Training course requirement.

Due to the size of the short haul fleet at British Airways, the airline remains particularly interested in hearing from candidates operating the A320.

In addition, the airline is keen to ensure the wider pilot community fully appreciates the day to day life as a BA Pilot. In light of this, on 6 October and 7 October BA will be running Roadshows in the Luton and Stansted areas. These days will give pilots the opportunity to meet face to face with several members of the Pilot Recruitment team along with BA line pilots to discuss life as a British Airways pilot. All experienced pilots are welcome to attend.

BA will be at Hilton Garden Inn Luton on 6th October 2015 and Hilton London Stansted 7th October 2015.

Sessions will be run throughout the day to suit the various schedules of pilots in those areas. Sessions in Luton and Stansted can be booked online here.
