All you need to know about flying for a living at Pilot Careers Live North

Are you thinking about a career as a professional pilot, flying an airliner, helicopter or special missions? Then set a heading for Manchester Airport on 6 July for the next Pilot Careers Live event.

Pilot Careers Live brings together Approved Training Organisations – companies that specialise in training professional pilots – with anyone looking for advice and help. That’s you, whether you’re at school, about to leave, at uni, or in work.

There will be ATOs, cadet pilots going through training, recently qualified pilots, more experienced pilots already working, plus airline recruiters, specialists, and many more at Pilot Careers Live North. They’ll be available to talk to and ask questions.

There are two exciting new developments for this July’s PCL North in Manchester. First, there’ll be a special YouTuber Zone where you can meet some of your favourite aviation YouTube stars.

Second, find out whether you’ve got what it takes to become a professional pilot in the Pilot Screening Zone, in conjunction with Symbiotics, the pilot assessment company. Have a go at the Control and Co-ordination Joy Stick Test.

The interactive Pilot Screening Zone’s aim is to provide visitors with a taster of what the full screening test would be like.

Captain Sarah Bowen from Helicentre Aviation will talk you through training and recruitment for helicopter pilots.
