That’s what pilots working for Greece’s Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) have completed with local training company Jetstream Aviation Academy.

So good was the experience that Jetstream has received a letter of appreciation from the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Civil Aviation Authority.

Zafeiris Tabakidis, Air Navigation Deputy Commander, expresses the administration’s gratitude for early completion of the training of pilots of the HCAA Aircraft Unit.

The requirement included base training of the HCAA pilots, which Jetstream conducts on its Cessna Citation X jet, part of the fleet based at Athens International Airport.

Captain John Diskos, CEO at Jetstream, said, “We are proud that during these challenging times for the aviation industry the solid partnership between Jetstream and Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) continues to be stronger than ever. We have worked with the HCAA for more than eight years and hope to continue to do so.”

Jetstream is an EASA accredited Approved Training Organisation (ATO) a certified Flight and Type Rating Training Organisation (FTO/TRTO) and an approved Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation,
