The airBaltic Pilot Academy has shared images of its latest intake of students.

On February 5, 2024, sixteen new cadets commenced their journey towards achieving commercial licences through an intensive full-time program. To date, 95 graduates from the academy have successfully transitioned to roles within airBaltic.

Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic: “Highly-trained personnel is one of the key factors in the successful operations of any airline. Since its establishment, the airBaltic Pilot Academy has educated skilled aviation professionals, with over 120 active students currently pursuing their dreams here. Therefore, we congratulate the young and determined students of the 21st group, who began their studies today to become professional pilots.”

Students of the airBaltic Pilot Academy have to cover the costs of ATPL theory studies and 45 flight hours, costing 15,000 Euros. After passing the airBaltic pilot assessment and becoming an employee of the company, the airline will provide financing for the rest of the course.
