Essex-based airline flight training provider, Stapleford Flight Centre has been given Full Accreditation by the British Accreditation Council for Independent, Further and Higher Education (BAC). This means that prospective International students can apply for student visitor visas when accepted onto one of Stapleford’s Professional Flight Training Modules.
Head of Training, Colin Dobney welcomed the news, saying, “We are proud of the fact that Stapleford’s ex-students now fly for operators all over the world. Stapleford already attracts many overseas students and the BAC accreditation now allows us to accept International students on visitor student visas. Subject to usual security checks, these visas will be awarded to students who are enrolled here by virtue of this accreditation.”
Stapleford Flight Centre offers the full range of qualifications from Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL), through Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR) to a frozen Air Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL) and Multi Crew Co-operation (MCC).
Each year Stapleford trains between 60-80 professional students and hopes to increase this number with the BAC accreditation. Students come from all parts of the world, with the largest number outside the UK coming from Bahrain, China and Hong Kong, India, and South Africa in addition to French, Greek, Italian and Irish students.
