A member of the Qatar Airways senior management team will be the guest speaker at CTC Aviation’s next Open Day which takes place at the company’s airline training centre near Southampton on Saturday 7 July 2012.
This follows the news that Qatar Airways recently selected world-leading airline training organisation, CTC Aviation to supply pilots to support the airline’s rapid expansion plan and the first 18 CTC Wings graduate pilots started with the airline during May 2012. Read more about the partnership here.
The Qatar Airways representative will deliver two presentations during the open day – morning and afternoon. Visitors can register to attend either session, but people are encouraged to spend the whole day with CTC to take full advantage of the features available. The company’s Airbus and Boeing full flight simulator centre will be open to the public from 1000-1630 and provides a ‘one stop research shop’ with an aim to providing a facility to fully research the training process and career.
“We are delighted to be working with Qatar Airways and the cadets who were recently selected to join them are very excited about working for such well respected airline that is growing so rapidly. It will be great for our open day visitors to hear about some of the plans Qatar Airways has for future recruitment requirements and the opportunities the airline has to offer aspiring CTC Wings pilots” said Karen Bath, Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing Services for CTC Aviation Group Limited. CTC Aviation has also stated that other partner airlines will be represented at the Open Day, including easyJet, British Airways, Flybe and Monarch Airlines.
