New pilot training centre opens in Nottingham

unnamedEast Midlands Pilots has launched Jet Orientation Courses and Simulator Assessment preparation training for professional pilots seeking airline jobs. EMP has an advanced Boeing 737-800 simulator, combined with current airline training captains who provide unique scenario based training.

East Midlands Pilots’ focus is to help meet the demands of airlines that are looking for the next generation of First Officers. Speaking about the new training scheme, East Midlands Pilots’ managing director Andy Wallace commented, “We’re thrilled to have such an asset in the centre of the East Midlands and to be able to train professional pilots to the highest standard. With Ryanair, ThomsonFly and others conducting their line training at East Midlands airport, we are hopeful that East Midlands Pilots can provide a steady stream of new First Officer Candidates to the industry”
