Kura Aviation, in partnership with Airways Aviation, has launched a pathway to airline employment with a complete ab initio programme based on its BESTPILOT post CPL/IR training course.

The new programme will be delivered in partnership with global ATO Airways Aviation and offers zero to ‘frozen’ ATPL training using a combination of elements of historic training methodologies: flexibility from the modular route, competency-based training from MPL training and the employment opportunities of an integrated course.

In addition to the regulatory training to CPL/IR, trainees will receive Kura’s full BESTPILOT airline preparation package: a Type Rating readiness course with MCC / JOC, On-Aircraft Upset Prevention & Recovery Training, Airline Employment Preparation training and employment assistance; delivered by current airline pilots and recruiters.

BESTPILOT Airline Training offers both modular and integrated versions of same zero to ‘frozen’ ATPL programme and aims to give aspiring pilots a genuine choice about how they train, depending on their priorities and timelines and, for the very first time, giving equal airline preparation training and employment assistance whichever route is chosen.

The modular version of BESTPILOT Airline Training received recognition from Ian Baston of Flybe at the programme’s launch at the Professional Flight Training Exhibition at Heathrow on 25 April.

Airways Aviation is awarding five £5,000 scholarships to individuals that score best through the assessment process. Visit www.airwaysaviation.com/scholarship for more information and to apply.
