European flight training provider FTEJerez has announced an agreement with Barcelona-based airline Vueling to provide the airline with FTE graduates for employment with the company. Vueling is the first Spanish-based airline to contract FTE to provide qualified pilots.
Vueling is a growing EU airline serving more than 100 destinations around Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
FTEJerez CEO Oscar Sordo commented, “We are extremely pleased with our new partnership with Vueling. Apart from it being great news for the college, it also means a lot to our graduates, knowing that if they excel, they stand a good chance to be offered a flight-deck position with Vueling”.
This follows the news that airline Volotea has announced that it will recruit six cadets from FTEJerez. Volotea is a new airline created by Vueling’s founders, that started operating in May 2012 from Venice and Nantes Airports.
