ESMA Aviation Academy, the flight training organisation based in France, will be offering the new ALTEA aircraft management software from the summer of 2012. The new software application is designed to enhance and optimise aircraft management and scheduling and will replace the GAETAN application currently used by ESMA. Classroom implementation will benefit more than 450 students who enrol in ESMA’s airport training each year at one of ESMA’s three training centres in Montpellier, Paris Val d’Europe and Lyon Saint-Exupery.
Cedric Jullian, Director of the Ground Staff Training Department, ESMA Aviation Academy, said, “ALTEA will directly benefit our trainees with the latest developments in both flight treatment systems, customer management, and load control operations. Upgrade sessions will also be offered to students who have completed their training prior to its launch, ensuring their professional skills meet the new requirements.”
ESMA Aviation Academy offers training for the four main aviation roles: Airline & Helicopter Pilot ; Air Hostess/Steward; Maintenance Engineer; and airport support roles.
