CAE Oxford Aviation Academy has announced that Emirates Airline is increasing its annual cadet training intake at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy to 55 cadets during 2015. This is more than double the 2014 cadet intake and shows Emirates Airline’s growing pilot requirements in tandem with its fleet expansion.
Emirates Airline selected CAE Oxford Aviation Academy in 2012 with the first cadets beginning training in January 2013. Since then, approximately 50 cadets have started training in Oxford, UK.
Following the successful completion and graduation of its first cadets, Emirates has assessed the quality of the graduates and decided to increase the number of cadets training at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy exclusively.
“We are delighted that Emirates has decided to double its cadet intake for 2015,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Simulation and Training, “This serves to validate the quality of our training programme and our experienced instructing team. We look forward to continuing to partner with Emirates in 2015 to help meet its pilot requirements for the future.”
CAE OAA will be exhibiting at the Professional Flight Training Exhibition in Frankfurt on 28 February 2015.
