Diamond Aviation, Malta approved to provide flight training

Malta-based FTO Diamond Aviation has announced that with the acquisition of an FNPT II simulator equipped with Garmin 1000 avionics, the organisation is now able to provide full flight training. The simulator completes the asset and human resource base necessary for operation. The sim is set to arrive in the first quarter of 2013. This follows approval of Diamond Aviation as a Flight Training Organisation earlier this year by the Malta CAA.

Plans are currently underway for the acquisition of a second DA40 Diamond Star. The company states, ‘The acquisition of a second DA40 further consolidates Diamond Aviation’s fleet and provides redundancy capacity which ensures continuity of training throughout the year without interruptions’.

Diamond Aviation is authorised to conduct courses leading to the private pilots licence, commercial pilot licence, multi-engine piston rating and instrument rating. For more information visit www.diamondaviation.aero
