CPT graduates take to the skies with West Atlantic

unnamedCommand Pilot Training has announced two of its latest graduates have taken to the skies as West Atlantic First Officers on the ATP. Two West Atlantic cadets, Lee and Gary, recently completed and passed their Commercial flight training and type rating with the Coventry-based ATO and are now undertaking line training.

Command Pilot Training, a division of the Air Atlantique group, has been training pilots for more than 25 years, and recently launched a new dual FAA and EASA Commercial pilot training course which includes a jet type rating, Multi-crew Cooperation course, upset recovery training and interview preparation.

The new course is conducted mainly in New Smyrna, Florida, along with guided ATPL ground school, with some training undertaken in the UK.

Command Principal, Trevor Bailey, said, “We had substantial interest in our courses at The Flying Show and recent Professional Flight Training Exhibition – with many future pilots understanding the value of having both EASA and FAA qualifications in a highly competitive job market.”
