Bombadier Global Express Captain required in SE England

An experienced Bombadier Global Express Captain is being sought by Strategic Engineering Recruitment Limited (SERL) to join a small but personable flight department in South East England.

The candidate will be required to operate flights all over the world in the company-owned corporate jet and will form part of the first impressions seen by potential new customers who they will be meeting and flying, therefore will be immaculately presented. Applicants must also have the right to live and work in the UK and have a passport which grants unrestricted travel to most parts of the world.

Requirements include a minimum of 5,000 hrs TT with GEX type rating and 1,000hrs on type while duties include all pre- and post-flight requirements for the safe and professional operation of flights around the world.

There will also be occasional ad hoc aircraft related duties whilst the aircraft is in the UK, such as maintaining manuals, keeping charts up to date and interacting with the maintenance organisation. You will also need to coordinate passenger ground travel requirements when away from the UK as well as help coordinate any down route issues with the aircraft, including keeping the aircraft to an exacting, high standard of cleanliness.

Global operational experience is a must as are good interpersonal skills, with an ability to react to difficult challenges when requires with calm authority. Good aircraft knowledge is also essential, along with an ability to solve problems and take on occasional high workloads without fuss and compromise to the safety of the operation.

Shift patterns will be 20 days on 10 off although from time to time some flexibility on this would be expected.

The aircraft is never chartered – this is a 100% private corporate aircraft. You will be expected to live within a three-hour commute of Oxford.

Salary band is £80k-£100k and applications close on July 26th.
