Baltic Aviation Academy establishes new training base in Singapore


Baltic Aviation Academy, an aviation training centre based in Central Europe has announced a new BAA Singapore training base. In cooperation with partners, China-based aerospace company Haite Group, BAA Singapore is capable of providing Pilot Type Rating, Cabin Crew and Ground Handling training to Asia, Pacific and MENA markets.

Baltic Aviation Academy is an EASA standard aviation training provider for Europe, CIS, Asia, Pacific and MENA aviation markets. The training centre took first steps into Asia Pacific market two years ago.  Companies including Pakistan International Airlines, Pelita Air, Hevilift, AirOne Aviation Pvt Ltd, Saurya Airlines, Air Mandalay, Myanmar National Airways, Mid East Jet, Karlstar and Ariana have been working with Baltic Aviation Academy since then.

“The expansion and establishment of new training location in Asia has been a step taken after well weighted opportunities and thought through possibilities to expand BAA operations. A local training base in partnership with Haite Group, one of the leaders of the market, will help to maintain the high service standards which our company is based on”, explained Egle Vaitkeviciute, the CEO at Baltic Aviation Academy.

BAA Singapore is located at the Singapore Training Centre with currently two 7000 Series Full Flight Simulators: B737NG and A320 plus Integrated Procedures Trainer. Five more simulators are planned to follow.  BAA Singapore training base, located at Singapore Training Centre, officially opened its doors on 21 April 2015.
