Aeros Flight Training has announced a new partnership with Simtech Aviation to include Multi Crew Co-operation (MCC) and Jet Orientation Course (JOC) training courses as part of its Commercial Pilot Modular Training programmes.
This addition will be available for suitable students from all of Aeros Flying Centres, which include Coventry, Gloucester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Nottingham and Cardiff. The cost of the training and accommodation is included in Aeros packaged prices.
Simtech is located a ten minute drive from Dublin airport and is equipped with a student area and four simulators, which include a Boeing 737 800 series, Airbus A320, ATP and XJ. Tom Duck, one of Aeros early candidates on the programme, explained that it was a life-changing experience to be hands-on on the flight deck of a Boeing 737. He said that the training was comprehensive and supportive and he was most impressed with the Flight Training Instructors who were highly experienced current and retired airline captains. Tom went on to say he would strongly recommend this course to any would-be commercial pilot.
The intensive course, spread over ten days, offers 25 hours ground school and 28 hours of simulator training. The training combines classroom and simulator training to familiarise pilots on the workings of a multi-crew environment, promoting the non-technical as well as the technical skills, both of which contribute greatly to an aviation career.
