Aeroism agrees link with Belgian Flight School

The tie-up between Aerosim and Belgian Flight School is great news for those seeking both FAA and JAA Commercial Pilot licenses

Aerosim Flight Academy has announced a new partnership with Belgian Flight School (BFS) in which BFS will establish a certified Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) satellite training centre at the Aerosim Flight Academy in Sanford, Florida.

The partnership will allow Aerosim Flight Academy and the Belgian Flight School – Belgium’s leading Flight Training Organization for airline pilots – to provide Integrated Airline Transport Pilot training.

Based in Minneapolis, MA, Aerosim delivers leading edge training services and technologies that provide value through customized training solutions.

Once BFS receives JAA regulatory approval from the Belgian Aviation Authority, Aerosim can begin offering JAA training to its customers who may want to seek both FAA and JAA Commercial Pilot licenses.

“We are very excited about this partnership with Belgian Flight School as it continues to add depth to our training offerings and positions us as a leader in the aviation industry,” said Eduardo Carrasco, Vice president of Aerosim Flight Academy.

“To our knowledge, this is the first time a flight school will be able to offer one path of flight training that can potentially lead to the issuance of both FAA and JAA licenses,” said Paul Woessner, Vice President Business/Program Development at Aerosim Flight Academy.
