Padpilot introduces interactive textbooks for PPL theory training

Digital aviation publisher, Padpilot, has created new, interactive textbooks for the theoretical knowledge element of Private Pilot Licence (PPL) training.

The publisher says that these the first new manuals for twenty years and each textbook aims to put aviation theory into a modern, straightforward context for today’s pilots. No prior aviation knowledge is assumed with any of Padpilot’s PPL digital manuals and a pre-course Maths and Physics iBook is available to download free of charge for those that wish to get up to speed before beginning the full course.

“We are incredibly excited to bring out the new PPL iBooks. Our mission has always been to make aviation theory more accessible and more understandable; because we believe that better understanding makes for a better pilot. Now PPL students can enjoy mobile and interactive learning technology as they master the theory that allows them to take to the skies,” said Padpilot MD, Graham Cownie.

Padpilot’s PPL iBooks are available to download from Apple’s iBookstore now.
