New Skills Seminars announced for London Pilot Careers Live on 7 November

Alongside its four headline airline seminars on 7 November, Pilot Careers Live London will run a new set of Skills Seminars, designed to inform future pilots on everything from financing your training to a career as a helicopter pilot. The full schedule has now been announced:


12.30 – 12.55

Should I get an aviation degree?

Presented by Ashley Leather, graduate of Leeds University’s BSc Aviation Technology with Pilot studies and Dr Andrew Taylor, Senior Lecturer at Bucks New University, present on the benefits of an aviation degree.


13.30 – 13.55

A career as a helicopter pilot

Presented by Captain Matt Corden, Helicentre Aviation, presents on the variety of careers that you could find yourself in, by training to fly helicopters.


14.30 – 14.55

Financing your pilot training

Presented by Jeremy Dawson, West Atlantic Airlines First Officer and MD ATPL Finance,  shares his experiences of funding pilot training and suggests that it doesn’t have to cost the earth.


15.30 – 15.55

Aviation Skills Partnership

Presented by Simon Witts, Aviation Skills Partnershippresents on the ASP route to a pilot career and gives an update on partners and new initiatives.
